Worldtrader24 as an App
An icon on the home screen, its own window, no browser frame. There's nothing to download from a store — the app is the page itself. It takes up hardly any memory and is always up-to-date.
Step by step
iPhone and iPad
- Open this page in Safari.
- Tap the Share icon — at the bottom on iPhone, top right on iPad.
- Scroll down the list to “Add to Home Screen”.
- Tap “Add” at the top right.
Android
- Open the browser menu at the top right.
- Select “Install app” — depending on the version, it may be called “Add to Home screen”.
- Confirm with “Install”.
Windows and Mac
- An Install icon appears on the right side of the address bar.
- Click it and confirm.
- Worldtrader24 will then be in your Start Menu or Dock.
Frequently asked questions
Does it require a lot of storage?
No. No program is downloaded, only a shortcut is created. The storage requirement is in the range of a few kilobytes.
Do I need to install updates?
No. The app always shows the current state of the page — there is nothing to reload.
Does it work without internet?
Limited. Recently visited pages will still appear, but vehicle data and prices are intentionally never cached. A reserved vehicle shown as available would be worse than an error message.
Why isn't it in the App Store?
Because it couldn't do anything extra there. The path via the home screen leads to the same result — without waiting time for review and without you having to load an update with every change.
