Equipped with a larger battery, it promises a range exceeding 300 miles per charge. Moreover, launching in America at the initially suggested price of around $35,000 could prove appealing.
Honda announced that its 2025 Civic Hybrid models, set to launch this summer, are expected to achieve close to 50 miles per gallon. The company also highlighted that these new hybrids will offer a level of zest and agility comparable to the spirited Si variant. Featuring a bigger engine compared to previous iterations and available in both sedan and hatchback forms, the hybrids are targeted to make up 40% of total Civic sales.

Volkswagen has announced a postponement in the U.S. release of its ID.7 electric vehicle, the company confirmed on Wednesday. While no updated schedule was given for the sleek hatchback, Volkswagen assured that this delay will not impact the U.S. launch of the ID.Buzz electric Microbus, which is still expected to arrive later this year in a longer version for the American market.

Over time, the development and deployment of charging infrastructure and stations employing the Megawatt Charging Standard (MCS) are beginning to take shape. With these advancements, the enhanced charging capabilities for large electric trucks could potentially negate the advantage hydrogen vehicles have in terms of refueling speed.
Honda Unveils Concept for Class 8 Hydrogen-Powered Fuel Cell
Honda has unveiled a hydrogen fuel-cell semi initiative at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) expo, targeting fleet vehicles. This launch marks the beginning of a new endeavor and highlights the company’s focus on expanding the application of fuel-cell technology beyond just passenger cars.
